Sorcerer's Apprentice by Barry Smith

This concept of Barry's has always intrigued me, but I don't know much about it, so let me give you my fantasy.  A great wizard has somehow been destroyed (temporarily?), and all that is left physically is a massive rib cage about the size of a house (much bigger than the rib cage used as a ferry boat in Conan VS Elric).  The destruction of the giant sorcerer is due to this guy and/or despite his efforts to protect his boss.  Does anyone know where I can find more images on this?  I recall seeing a whole spread on this in a magazine way back, possibly Epic
