My Berni Wrightson Mystery

The first image is an obviously lousy scan from my massive notebook collections, but whenever I search for this magazine in the hopes of finding a better image, I always come up with the second image (i.e. the third and fourth images).  The fifth and sixth images have always reminded me of the first, and the rest have nothing to do with what I'm yak'n about, except they're Berni and I like them.  Soooo, what gives?  If anyone can turn me onto a better version of my first image, you would have the Cap'n's undying gratitude
